And everytime I can lift up my head even just for a few second, they was very happy and clap hand . Now I know the reason why, I can see everyone happy face when I achieve my ability and can see what toys that teachers showing to me for encourage me to keep my head up and looking forward no matter in what position I do either prone or sitting. I stayed in NICU for 10 days and support by CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) and other days in Special Care before I can be discharge back to Malaysia at 1 September 2017. As my parents was employee at Singapore ,I was taking care by my grandmother and following up with Paediatric clinic all the while , due to im a premature baby. My parents always follow up about me and my condition from my grandmother. When im is few months old, my grandmother notice my leg is not active as my brother. My family have no idea what happened to me. Until when I’m at 1 year and 8-month-old, during the PAED follow up, my caregivers voice up to doctor about my legs. Doctor did a quick examination and diagnosed me with Cerebral Palsy. Doctor advised my parents and referred me to Cerebral Palsy specialist clinic. From the moment I was diagnosed as a Cerebral Palsy, my family tried to find out what they could do to help me, and they took me to undergo the therapy training at the local specialist clinic.

I don’t understand the situation around me and why I must do all that training. I am a baby who just wants to play freely without coercion. As my session is once a month, im in learning process and still not familiar with the environment and im afraid of strangers. I keep crying and uncooperative so my session will cut short to less than 10 minutes per session. I really can’t cooperate in undergoing my therapy session. I rebelled and cried badly until I couldn’t continue my therapy session. Until one day, the doctor introduced to my family about Wishesland. I was registered with Wishesland on 11.7.2019. Same to what happened in previous clinic. From my first visit I was cried badly and uncooperative with the teacher. I refused to do all the activities that given to me. I cried all the time but my teacher was very patience and loving, they keep tried to calm and comfort me. They treated me like their own family. Even though I keep crying and don’t want to cooperate, my teachers keep smiling and always say that they love me very much and will help me so that I can play freely and effortlessly just like my brothers. My teachers keep tried to comfort me until I was calm. And finally, I managed to adapt and successfully undergo all the activities that given to me. I was very happy when my teachers and everyone around me cheered and praised me every time I made a progress. I can see eveyone around me love me so much. From what I have been through, now I understand why im need all this training.

Then on 2020, due to MCO I have to postpone my therapy at Wishesland and continue my training at home with my grandmother. During MCO period, my teacher always keeps in touch with my grandma to ask about my progression and guide her in doing home program with me. And when Wishesland resume for the operation on 2021, I show a lot of progresson to my teacher, and they are very happy with my improvement that I am able to walk by myself using walker with effortlessly. Now I can attend my school just like my brothers, I am in progress learning to be independent just like other childrens.
