Home Visit

Programmes Flow

Welcoming

Parents and child will be welcoming and interviewed to understand the existing programme that their children are doing, their hopes and aspirations. Children will be assessed on their abilities and challenges via milestone chart. Parents and children will be listening to the Mastermind voice record before and after the therapy session. It’s a motivation quotes to transform the conservative thinking to abundance mindset and remind ourselves to keep thinking positively.


Progress review from parents

Parents feedback to us regarding their children latest progress. If there is need to change the programme,then a new programme will be drawn to cater for the child’s development stage.


Program explanation

All the zones available in Wishesland will be explained to the parents.


Therapy

All children are encouraged to go through these zones during their 2-3 hours of treatment session so that all aspects of recovery processes would be experienced.


Therapy zone

● WishesPhysio zone for children to do physiotherapy. It’s a treatment of injury and disorders through physical methods - such as exercise, massage, manipulation and other treatments - over medication and surgery.


● WishesADL Zone for children to learn living skills. All children depending on their severity will be taught on how handle their daily life activities such as brushing teeth, holding cups, wearing shoes, laundry, bathing, eating and drinking . It is to ensure they are trained and able to take care of themselves when they are growing up.


● WishesABC Zone for children to learn academic knowledge. Children will be taught on understanding alphabets, mathematics, storytelling, reading stories books, colouring, etc.


● WishesPlay Zone for children to play with physiotherapy equipment and getting the required result. Play zone was introduced as part of the rehabilitation programmes so that children can enjoy playing while getting physiotherapy effect.


● WishesFun Pool Zone for children to undergo hydrotherapy. Water and water-induced resistance to improve physical functioning is accepted by the medical community as a method in which to rehabilitate, or re-educate the human body.


● Wishes Oxygen Zone for children to receive oxygen adequately for active in daily activity. It is a treatment that deliver oxygen to our lungs and direct to our brain and blood.


● Neurobrain Training Zone for help the children and youths overcome challenges in the aspects of learning ability, thinking ability and emotional control through brainwave training.


Home program

Therapist will be prescribing home programs to parents/caregiver to practice tasks done in therapy at home. This is a way of increasing the amount of therapy for cerebral palsy children. A home program may improve functional outcomes in the child as it encourages opportunities for repeated practice. Thus, parents will become active participants in their child’s therapy, as it helps to improve the knowledge of their child’s condition and interactions within the family may also be improved.


Walk around the garden

Walk around the garden will help to relief of stress among parents and children, also bolster their immune system and stimulate the body’s natural healing proclivity.


Wishes magick garden zone

For children to be attached with nature healing force. Create an environment that stimulate and balance our children’s physical, cognitive and emotional growth, as well as to provide a platform for them and their family members to interact and share their feelings, before or after children has gone through various activities in the Centre.
