08-12-2024 - Wishesland Miri had successfully organised its 2 days 1 night family day at Batu Niah on 7-8 of December 2024. Parents of children with cerebral palsy (CP) often face high levels of stress due to the demands of caregiving, medical appointments, and the emotional toll of navigating their child’s needs. Going out and engaging in recreational or social activities is crucial for parents to give themselves permission to prioritize their own well-being without guilt. This self-care indirectly benefits their child by allowing them to be more patient, present, and resilient in their caregiving role.
